Welcome to the Village Midwife website! We are a group of Certified Nurse Midwives and we created this website because we believe wholeheartedly it takes more than a supportive midwife or doctor to have a good birth and early parenting experience. We hope this inspires you to create a village for yourself no matter where or with whom you give birth. As Certified Nurse Midwives our expertise is both nursing and midwifery; we care for essentially healthy women during their reproductive years. We attended graduate programs in midwifery following undergraduate nursing education and we are board certified to care for women from puberty through menopause and beyond. Collectively we have over 100 years of experience working in Women's Health! Frequently Asked Questions. We attend births at Providence Hospital in Southfield both the Alternative Birth Care Unit (ABC) and in labor and delivery. Our office is located in Novi where we work with a group of supportive physicians in their practice, Metro Partners in Women's Health     Come to Providence Hospital and Meet Our Midwives at Fisher Center Auditorium located inside Providence Hospital in Southfield at 7:00-8:30pm on the following dates. 2012 M.O.M.
