Welcome to the Village Midwife website! A Certified Nurse Midwife is an expert in both nursing and midwifery, she cares for essentially healthy women during their reproductive years. Our midwives have completed graduate programs in midwifery following under graduate education as nurses and are board-certified to care for women from puberty through menopause and beyond. We attend births at Providence Hospital in Southfield both the Alternative Birth Care Unit (ABC) and in labor and delivery. Our office is located Novi where we work with a group of supportive physicians in their practice, Metro Partners in Women's Health We created this website for you because we believe wholeheartedly it takes more than a doctor or midwife to have a good birth and early parenting experience.
